There is a medical tool called defibrillator. In some, very rare, cases the thing can restart your stopped heart. However it is not a health potion. It doesn't heal your injuries, if you eat it. And it doesn't return you to your last save or to point, where you left. It more like life-cheats and leaves you with 1 hitpoint to wait the next move.

I find it very difficult to find any philosophy in this either. Although philosophy is also about learning how to live. Some people - with help from said tool - have been able to learn very important lesson about life. So maybe this is ;)
