Hello everyone!
I am flying with Hong Kong Express this week from Hong Kong to Japan. I know Hong Kong Express is a budget airline, so is it safe to fly with?
I mean are the planes good, of if they have been bought from other airlines so that they are a bit old? Also, would the pilots be less professional (so that they have a lower salary)?
Sorry everyone, I might be a bit stupid to ask these questions, but I just want to be sure about the safety. Thank you everyone for your help!

I've been transited on HK Express two years ago, it's okay, it's safe but delay, so if you're rush for your trip, please be consider & compare more other airlines.

actually their planes aren't old but I think inside the plane maybe a little bit dirty
also the IFE system on board aren't as good as you think (at least i think like this
But I think you'd better don't take HKE because she and her sister airline Hong Kong Airlines always delay their flights. you can check that on the web of hk airport. the flights maybe delayed for half an hour but sometimes may more. a few years ago when i took HKA to Haikou, Hainan,, I had been delayed for one hour= =
so don't take HKE or HKA. NEVER!!!!

(3) Do you mean Budget Airlines are not safe to fly??
(4) How do u know old aircrafts are unsafe?
(5) How do u know budget airline pilots get less paid?
