I think 1 is better.However, a little change is better:Please call back Mr. Lau of ABC Company at 288888888 for shipiing date inquiry.
( note 1:**for = regarding= as regards = in regard to; for is a better word; easier and direct)
(note 2: *** shipping date inquiry is a good expression; no need to change)

I would say:
Please return your call to Mr. Lau from ABC Company at 2888 8888 regarding the shipping date inquiry.
"return you call" = call back, but it sounds more polite.
