(1) Every day Sam will come home from work and turn on the TV.
(2) Every day Sam comes home from work and turns on the TV.
As the two sentences use different modals/tenses, they differ in meaning.
(1) use will as a modal (will 在這句用作 情態動詞) (不是將來式 not future tense)
=something expected:=預期(預料)會發生的事情
e.g. These things will happen.
Oil will float on water.
(1)=預料 Sam 每天下班後都會回家及開電視。
(2) use present tense (comes) to indicate a routine 日常習慣
(2) = Sam 習慣每日放工後回家及開電視。
