Could you recommend some anime I might like? :)?

HEEEY !! Dragon Ball Z is NOT dumb !!! Clannad After Story <3 It made me cry lOl . Kekkaishi , Please Teacher! , Please Twins! , High School of the Dead , Durara & many other one's ;p Also , Avatar: The Last Airbender .

LEGEND OF THE GALACTIC HEROES

Well, I'd like to know if you liked Naruto. Because that means you'd possibly prefer that genre? I'll give you three categories full of anime from what you're describing:

~Anime like Naturto - called Shonen/Shounen~

1- Bleach (longer than Naruto, about 350 episodes. I'm still watching it)
Ichigo Kurosaki is a boy who can see ghosts. He then meets a girl and she is a 'soul reaper' or in Japanese, 'shinigami' (Grim Reaper). She and other people collect souls and bring them to place where they can be happy. But, when Rukia (the girl) is in crisis, she makes Ichigo a soul reaper on their meeting, and he holds incredible powers. The story is exciting and funny, but because of it's length can be boring at times.

2- Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (or Reborn!) - (203 eps, about the same as Naruto. Watched it 2 times over, loved it. Highly recommended!)
Tsunayoshi Sawada (or Tsuna for short) is a student with low grades, bad luck with girls and is so clumsy everybody calls him "No-Good Tsuna" and generally dislikes him. But, his ancestor, Giotto, his the 1st generation Mafia Boss of a elite underworld italian/japanese mafia family called Vongola. A baby-sized hitman comes to Tsuna's house with unlimited forces despite his size and trains Tsuna to be the ideal 10th-Generation Mafia Boss. Funny, cute, sad, exciting, epic <3

3- Code Geass/Code Geass R2 (about 24 each. Loved it)
In the future (something lie 2017) one third of the world is taken over by a large, wealthy, and beautiful empire called Brittania (unfortunately, Brittania is the old name for Great Britain -,-) and took Japan's name, flag and dignity and threw it away. Lelouch Lamperage is a Brittanian boy who holds a huge secret and shares it with only his little sister, Nunally, and his best friend Kururugi Suzaku. Suzaku is a Japanese boy who befriended Lelouch after his daring plot to destroy Brittania. Warning for mild nudity, hell-loads of violence, guns, gore etc. but an awesome series.

~Romance/Romance-Comedy Anime, aka Shojo/Shoujo~

1- Clannad and Clannad ~After Story~ if you want to cry for 3 years.
Okazuki Tomoya has had a bad life in Japan, with a drinking Father, dead Mother and rebellious nature at school and home, not to mention bad grades as well. But one day, he meets a girl name Furukawa Nagisa. She is a fragile, beautiful and kind girl but gets sick often and had been absent for a lot of school, hence why she was repeating a year. She lacks courage because of her weak nature and her sickness. Tomoya then seeks to help her build a Theatre Club as she wishes and they become close friends. Throughout the series, the help other people and the story is fairly sad. But, ~After Story~ will make you depressed!

2- Kaichou Wa Maid-Sama (or Maid-Sama)
Misaki comes from a poor family after her Father left them and her Mother became too ill to work. So, she worked her hardest to support her family of her mother, sister and herself. She studied hard and became Class President and had the strength, ability and intelligence to handle it all. But, when she is found out to be a Maid (Waitress) at a cafe by one of the delinquents at school, could this be love or hate?

3- Special A/SA
Throughout her school life, Hikari has been competing against Kei. They met when they were children, and Kei was the first person to beat her at anything. In order to defeat him, Hikari enters the SA or Special A Class in a highly prestigious school. She is brainy, athletic and funny - #2 in the school. But... who is #1? Kei, of course. But little does Hikari know, her rival might just have feelings for her...

~Beginner Anime! The stuff I watched as a freshling <3~

1- Spirited Away or any other Hayao Miyazaki movies.
Amazing animator, Hayao is world renown for his movies. The leading one is Spirited Away though which I have always loved and highly recommend!

2- Ouran Highschool Host Club
Haruhi, a super-smart student enters at a prestigious super-elite school. She then comes across a group of 6 proud, occasionally obnoxious but good-hearted, extravagant boys known as the "Hosts". Who flatter and flirt with the ladies to support feminism and make them feel loved, as they are the idols of the school. But, much to Haruhi's bad luck (Haruhi is also a guys name...) SHE is mistaken for a guy, and after a rushed make-over and a few mishaps, they decide she, even though they assume she's a boy, must be a host...!

I'm betting you have only ever watched animé shows in English, which is fine but I really really really recommend learning to watch them in Japanese. They sound strange in Japanese at first because your ears aren't used to it, but once you start picking up on a few little words and phrases you recognize they sound completely natural just like listening to English.

If you're into action/combat animé, Full Metal Alchemist is popular, but there are many other genres to choose from.

Lovely Complex; the story is kind of a reversal of the usual romance format of a boy in love with a girl, in Lovely Complex the girl is chasing the boy and his first reaction is to reject her which leads to a long fight to win him over. http://www.animeshippuuden.com/lovely-complex-1/

Seirei No Moribito; a female bodyguard saves the life of a young prince and takes him into hiding. No romance as such but it's a great adventure/drama. http://www.animecrazy.net/seirei-no-moribito-episode-1/

Toradora! is a good school life romance and K-ON is school life as well but no romance between any characters. Nijijou is a comedy.
