I let x be the required area and put AD = BC = 1.
Then the height of ∆ADP and ∆BCP is 18 and 20.
(AD and BC are the base)
So,
x + 8 + 9 + 10 = AD × (height of ∆ADP + height of ∆BCP)
x + 27 = 1 × (18 + 20)
x = 11

As what I just did before.
I let x be the required area and put AB = CD = 1
Then the height of ∆ABP and ∆CDP is 24 and 44.
(AB and CD are the bases)
So,
x + 12 + 22 = 16 + area of ABCD
x + 34 = 16 + AB × (height of ∆ABP + height of ∆CDP)
