1980s sci-fi b-movie?

I saw this b-movie on the sci-fi channel about six or seven years ago. It was set on a big space station and the main character was this guy who was competing in some kind of intergalactic fighting or wrestling tournament. It was a bit of a b-movie, filmed in the 1980s I think. Anyone know the name of this film?
