Can someone recommend me a good after-shaving cream? My face gets very itchy after shaving.

Your face is dry and itchy because you are using a "soap-based" shaving cream. It is stripping the oils off your skin with the beard. You need a light, oil-free moisturizer like Aveeno Ultra-calming daily or Clean&Clear Oil-free moisturizer.
Also consider a new shave gel like King of Shaves Alpha Gel. It has no drying soap and feels great on your skin. That alone may void the need for a moisturizer in the summer, but you will need one in the winter.
