Get generic luggage in a store. Then you can see it first hand. Don't spend excessively. If your bag is plain, it is less likely to be stolen. Engrave your driver's license number on the bottom. Individualize it with something unique. Mine has 2 wooden balls on a cable tie. Use ID tags inside and outside with a cable tie.
