59X巴士上寫住終點站係"屯門碼頭總站", 英文係"Tuen Mun Pier Head". 其實 "Pier" 已經係解作碼頭, 點解要加個 "Head" 上去呢?

Pier Head

Pier head解 the outer end of a pier 係指pier(碼頭)開便嘅地方。
呢個叫法唔係香港人用錯, 喺英語國家用開嘅,例如:Liverpool Pier Head。

Pierhead Garden係屯門海翠的英文譯名，而海翠花園的底層是巴士總站，亦在渡輪碼頭旁邊，所以英文譯名便以Pier Head（地方名）而不是Ferry或Pier。
