Sweet, soluble in water, with reducing power (Except sucrose)

Example: Glucose + Glucose = Maltose
Glucose + Fructose = Sucrose
Glucose + Galactose = Lactose

Polysaccharide

Long Chain of sugar (e.g long chain of glucose)

Not sweet, insoluble in water, no reducing power

Example: Starch, Glycogen, Cellulose
