最重的金屬應該是指密度最大的金屬。答案應該是鋨，鋨(符號為Os)的密度約為 22.59 g/cm^3
而鈾的密度只有 19.1 g/cm^3而「鋨是銀白色的過渡金屬，是常溫常壓下密度最大的元素。鋨可在鉑礦中發現。
