in the giver what are some differences between jonas and the giver?

One difference would be that the giver had the capacity to hear beyond while Jonas had the capacity to see beyond.
The giver has had many years of experience being the receiver before become the giver when Jonas became receiver. Jonas had very little experience.
Their age is an obvious difference.
The Giver has more mature thoughts, unlike Jonas, who once said that he wanted to change everything bt did not think about how and what impact it would make.
