Does menstruation affect urinary catheter?

If you use a catheter during menstruation, wouldn't it mess up the catheter?

No.Menstruation blood comes out of the vagina. The catheter goes into the urethra.
Those are two completely separate holes.

Can't imagine that it would, different plumbing.
