Can an old spider bite affect a pregnacy?
6 months ago i was bitten by a brown recluse spider, at the time I was 5 weeks pregnant and the bite caused me to miscarrage a short time later. I am now 11 weeks pregnant and im really not well. I have 4 other children and there is something about this pregnacy that just doesnt feel right.. I was wondering if the venom could still be in my system causing me to feel very ill. There is a big difference between the morning sickness and me just not feeling right.. i cant think straight, i have the flu atm but it seems to be the worst i have ever had and i cant take any antibiotics to help me fight the infection... I have been getting some worrying pains in my stomack and wont be seeing a doctor for another week... I am really worried that the venom may still be running around in my system and may be affecting my unborn baby... any ideas?

No there are no long term effects from spider bites once they have healed.
