Certainly, it is better to use "LOCATION". "venue" is most likely related to law. Even though both "venue" and "location" can be used in your question. However, it is still more common to use "location".

兩者皆可用，但意思不同。
會議的location在哪裡＝會議在哪裡舉行
會議的venue在哪裡＝會議是在哪個venue（會場）舉行
會議的venue的location在哪裡＝開這個會的會場的地點是在哪裡
總得來說，但就“地點”去翻譯的話，應該是"location"。"venue"是那個舉行會議的“場地”。
