1. What books would you suggest for these two subjects?
*I asked some friends here and they told me to use study guides only, but I am afraid I cannot understand all by only using study guides...you know my basic knowledge in these two subjects is worth Grade C in HKCEE only...

>> 我會建議你先睇study guide, 因為study guide 唔似hk 果d 精讀只係得個point, 佢會highlight 哂你要知既point, 所以可以話係本condense 左既書, 並唔係只係得d 重點. 而我見你上一個post 話你想讀biochem, 咁你最好考埋chem 佢, 因為只係得bio 同maths 你apply non jupas個機會會少, 因為個min. requirement 係要有3個al, 你得2個, 佢可能唔睇. study guide 有分gcse 同gce, 如果你怕你level 跟唔上, 你可以gcse 同gce 都買哂, 咁就可以了. 睇書只會令你更confuse, 因為佢太多野了, 你唔知take in 邊一d.

2. If I really want to use textbooks for reference apart from study guides, can you name some for me?

>> hk 好少有bio 既textbook, 你可以上去amazon 度搵番你考果個exam board 既bio 書 (因為exam board 會自己出番佢地個syllabus 既書), 咁你就可以睇下英國果邊既買家會唔會post 俾去hk了. 但講真, study 真係已經夠, 因為你唔係full time 一直係屋企讀, 仲要番學, 所以咁樣樣, 會太overload了, 如果有需要, 或者搵補習可能會比較好. 快d 吸引好過自己睇既.
