這是保護色，在企鵝游泳時起到重要作用。腹部是白色，從下方看時就像天空的顏色。背部是黑色，從上看時就像海的顏色。

Why are penguins black and white?
Answer: Improve The reason why penguins are black and white , when its cold they turn there backs towards the sun to generate heat in there bodies and when they are to hot they will face the sun with there white fronts and reflect the suns rays
Also because when penguins are swimming if they are swimming more towards to the top it is harder for preditors to see them because of the light from above, the bottom is more black so it is also hard to see them from above
