I will say sidney crosby- offensive, won stanley cup and gold medal. That saying, jonathan toews is also one of the best- well rounded, won stanley cup and gold medal as well

Definatly claude giroux. Not because he has the most points in the playoffs and one of the players with the most points in the leage, but just because hes a great overall player

Sidney Crosby. Regardless of what happened in the playoffs, he is the best hockey player in the world for now.

Anyone who says Giroux doesn't know hockey and are riding on Fleury's shitty goaltending and Giroux's good fortune.

Crosby is definitely the best in the world. Ask any NHL player/expert.

Datsyuk-Giroux-Crosby.

Giroux and Datsyuk are the two best overall players in the NHL. Giroux is younger than Datsyuk some maybe Giroux. It's so even you can't really tell.

Right Now Sidney Crosby. I'd have to Malkin a close second but Crosby is. I know many people will say Giroux but honestly. He was great in the regular season but the only reason he had 14 points in 6 games in the first round was because Fleury pulled a Dan Cloutier essentially. If you took Crosby and had him play a full season he would have ended up with 140 points. 21 more then Malkin who had 109 and is arguably the 2rd best right now.

Apparetly anyone other than Crosby is the wrong answer and insulting to any intelligent hockey fan.

But I say Steven Stamkos. For me it's all about goal scoring.
