第一個比較中性(即是有用或冇用),第二個多數指嘅係有用的東西

replace - 更換 = 以功能上或物質上而言以一件東西換上另一件東西

displace - 取代 = 一件新/更好的東西取代了一個地位/空間的功能(如職位/佔據地)

remains (以noun說明-如果是remain作verb便跟remainder無關) = 剩餘的東西(物質)

remainder = 數字上的餘數 = 減數算式的結果 [只會用於數字或數量上，不能用於表示意識或形容物質]

replace(v)=eg Replace the books.

remains(n)=eg the remains of a dead animal.
