1.The actual distance of two car parks is 6 km. Alice and Anderson plan to sketch 2 maps with different scales to slow the locations of the two car parks. Suggest the scales of the two maps and find the distances between the car parks on the two maps respectively.

2.The height of a door is measured to be 2.56 m, correct to 3 significant figures. Suggest a possible actual height of the door and calculate the albsolut error, relative error and percentage error of the measurement. Give your answers correct 3 significant figures if necessary.

3. Given that the areas of a circle and a sector are the same. Suggest the values of their of their radii and the angle of the sector such that the perimeter of the sector is larger than the circumference of the circle.

= 2.561m

Absolute error
= (2.561-2.56)m
= 0.001m

Relative error
=0.001/2.561
= 1/2561

Percentage error
=1/2561 ×100%
=0.0390% (corr. to 3 sig. fig.)
