英文句型不懂

On my way home, I found a dog( ) by a car on the road.

因為a dog是被a car輾過, 要用被動式,run的past participle(過去分詞)是run,所以2是答案。
原句應是
On my way home, I found a dog which had been run over by a car on the road.
意思是: 在我返家途中,我發現一隻狗被一輛車輾過在路上。

其它3個都不適用,因為:
1. to run over 不是被動式
3.ran over主動過去式
4.running over現在分詞
