其實relaxing atmosphere和relaxed atomsphere,若我們在網上索尋,就算在外國網站,兩個都有人用,不過相信意思倒有不同

relaxing atmosphere是使人輕鬆的氣氛

而relaxed當與環境連用時,就有以下的意思

Cambridge Dictonary Online在relaxed條下就這樣說2 a situation that is relaxed is comfortable and informal: There's a very relaxed atmosphere in the school.

而Merriam Webster就這樣解釋

easy of manner:informal

Cambridge Dictionary Online就說
A relaxed situation or place is comfortable and informal It's a very friendly bar with a nice relaxed atmosphere.


所以,relaxed atmosphere是指不拒謹的氣氛;隨便輕鬆的氣氛

至於relaxing atmosphere未必是一些不拒謹的氣氛,它可以是一個充滿柔和音樂,人一在這氣氛下,就放鬆了心情啊



但因你的句子有fun在前,我想應用relaxed atmosphere

不明白你為何說hoh的答案錯,你引用Oxford Dict的答案都會看出正確形容那event的atmosphere是relaxed(一種輕鬆沒有壓力的狀態)而不relaxing(使人鬆弛的環境)的節目。

隨非你以為那句子是想說那event使人輕鬆,那麼relax這詞便不是形容atomosphere而是要寫成形容event的句子.
例如:
It is a relaxing event.
