What baseball position should I play?

I play for a JV 9th grade team and I wanted to know what position I should play. It seems like everybody wants to play infield, including me even though I don't have any experience playing infield. I tried outfield but I don't know if I should play right, center, or left. I want a lot of playing time. I have to work on catching pop ups and throwing a line drive. I can work on that. But should I play infield or outfield based on a beginner who wants playing time? I also want to start.
