I cannot speak for others but as for myself, I need a fairly good amount of evidence. Every once in a while a lot is not necessary because the mind has ways of connecting certain ideas into patterns so belief can be produced with smaller quantities of evidence.

It is wise to question everything though, even what seems to exist right in front of you.

To the point it can be proven or disproven.

Belief is like truth.

Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self sustained. - Mahatma Gandhi, Young India ... Truth does not require your painting, brother; it is itself beauty ..

Similar is the case with Belief. Nothing is required to have belief except your attention.

depends on who you're trying to convince. some ppl can have a tiny ounce of evidence and believe it, while others you can place full proof in front of their nose and they will still refuse to believe it.
