When you write, is it necessary to put"in my opinion" when making a statement? I'd assume that the reader know the content is based on my opinions.

Teachers hate when students write "in my opinion"It's kind of redundant because, like you said, they know whatever you're writing is based on your opinion.

When writing a formal essay remove all references to yourself including: "I", "my", "mine", etc.
Use: "Therefore", "In conclusion", "Considering the evidence", "When ______ is examined".
At the university level it would be a critical mistake to use them unless the essay is about yourself or you are doing a casual review.
