2012 nl central predictions?

First off my predictions change big time knowing chris carpenter won't be back until after the all star break mid july so here are my predictions and a little hit by the reds knowing closer ryan madison is gone for the season
1- brewers 92-70- They lost prince fielder but they got aramis ramirez who can hit 30+ homeruns and drive in 100+ rbi's one of the best pitching rotations and bullpens.

2. reds wild card- 90-72 great offense their pitching rotation is much improved also a good bullpen but took a hit when they found out closer madison is gone for the year but they will still contend.

3. pirates 82-80 This team has good young talent and is a up and coming team.

4. cardinals 76-86- i love my cards but with no albert pujols, dave duncan, tony la russa, and chris carpenter gone at least until after the all star break maybe longer this teams season is over, before the carpenter injury i had this team contending for the division fighting until the last week with the brewers and reds but no way with pujols, duncan, la russa, and carpenter.

5. cubs- biggest offseason addition is getting theo epstein from the red sox but lacks talent on this team.

6 astros 60-103 This team do i already have to say anything about the astros they are in major rebuilding mode. So hear are my predictions im a st.louisian it kills me to say this about the cards but just to much to overcome plus this team is aging beltran, furcal, berkman, and you see carpenter at his age is having health issues.

1. Reds 90-72 Matt Latos is the pitcher that will take the Reds to the top. That is what they were missing last year and I think it will put them over the top to win the division. Of course Joey Votto will continue to tear up the league posting big numbers again this year. It is also intriguing if flame thrower Ardolis Chapman can be a starter and an effective one at that. If everything goes right I see them coming out on top in this division, with question marks surrounding a lot of teams.

2. Brewers 89-73 With three (Grienke, Gallardo, Marcum) of the top pitchers in the NL Central the Brewers will have no problem contended for the division. Aramis Ramirez is a solid enough to protect the possible NL MVP Ryan Bruan. I expect this team to win one of the two wild card spots.

3. Cardinals 82-80 The Cards lost Pujols. Need I say more? They will have trouble staying healthy and the defending champions will fail to make the playoffs.

4. Pirates 81-81 The additions of Erik Bedard and AJ Burnett could pay dividends for the Pirates or could be giant busts. If Bedard stays healthy and Burnett returns to what he once was they could possible contend if they score a few runs for them. Andrew McCutchen really excels this year. Maybe .290 avg, 25 HR, and 100RBI. They just need someone else to step up... Pedro, Pressely, Tabata

5. Cubs 65-98 This team is probably going to be looking to unload the over paid talent they do have. There is just not enough talent for this team to succeed. There one bright spot is Starling Castro.

6. Astros 55-108 This team has absolutely nothing going for them in terms of there position players. They barely have an everyday starter on other teams besides Carlos Lee. They may be looking to unload him and Wandy Rodriquez. This team could honestly be one of the worse all time. Maybe they will lose 120 games.

Defintly a good battle w/ Reds, Brewers and Cards. Pirates are getting better and may actually leap over the World Series Champs into 3rd. The Cubs will be closer to the Astros than the 4th place team.
Reds
Brewers
Cards and Pirates tied
Cubs
Astros

Brewers will NOT make playoffs because Braves or Marlins will be there. (Phillies wins division)

I already typed all of this out with records for my blog at http://bikinihill.blogspot.com/ if you're interested in checking it out. The article also has the records of all 30 MLB teams included... ;) Enjoy the season!

It's way too early to have any meaningful projections, but I will do it anyway.

Brewers - Great pitching staff. Loss of Fielder hurts, though.
Reds - Will contend for division and wild card.
Cards - Loss of Pujols and La Russa hurts bad, but still a very good squad.
Pirates - On the cusp of being serious contenders in the central, but in a few years.
Cubs - Can't see them doing much this year. Maybe in a few years.
Astros - In rebuilding mode. Expect to lose at least 100 games this year.
參考: Brewers fan, so I am probably biased.
