If a Red Sox fan got to hold the World Series trophy instead of going to parade is that the same?

Is that even?

I was a lifelong fan. At 24, I got to hold the World Series trophy. But i didn't go to the parade. Is that something to regret or did I have the same result?

I have held the World Series Trophy in the summer of 97 in Miami when the Yankees were there, in 2004 I was at the parade for the Lightning and later got to hold the Stanley Cup, To me holding the Trophy at an event is the best.

If Boston Red Sox will win the 8th World Series title, then there will be a parade at World Series Way in Boston in this route.

For a fan of any team, I'd say getting to hold the trophy, and getting a picture of you holding it, is better than just going to the parade. Even as a Yankees fan if given the choice I'd get a picture of me holding the trophy over going to the parade if I could only pick one or the other.

I think it's better.. You held the trophy, and there was probably some idiot from New York at the parade that would say something stupid and embarrASS herself..
