Ladder -
La-der

Leather -
Li-th-er

to pronounce 'th' correctly put your tongue between the two rows of teeth :)

Yes... Quite a bit of difference, actually... One cant use IPA symbols on here... but "leather" sounds like "ledhur" (English) and "ladder", well, sounds like "ladder"... (Different vowels, different consonants)

To me there is, but I suppose it could depend on where you're from. Most people I see pronounce leather as leh-th-er and ladder as lahd-ur.

Yes, leather is pronounce "la dur" and ladder is pronounced "le thur"
