slow my education or make money?

So i am at an impasse at 26 years old put my education on hold/slow it down for a $55k a year job my school will be 6 years or go to school and be done in 4

It depends on what you want and what is your present condition (that is whether you are dependent on others financially or have enough money to spend on education & livelihood). if you are dependent on others, it is better to take the job and slow your education and if you have enough funds for education & livelihood, to continue the education full time. But the best way to have both money & education is taking up the job and then slowly continuing the education (part-time college).

Keep the job. Work experience is worth more than you think and taking on debt for an education is not always a great idea. Make sure you are getting the right degree, too. Things like history, psychology, sociology, etc. don't pay very well.
