You will need your 澳洲駕駛牌 and International Driving Permit (IDP).

IDP does not require any exam, you just need to go to certain place in 澳洲, show them your 澳洲 license, and paid a little fee to get it. In US, In US, it is AAA proves the IDP service.

IDP serves a translation of your license to English. Since your license is in English already, it may not be necessary. I heard about CA does not require IDP, and you only need to show your own countries' license if it is in English. However, this rule could be different from State to State.

You will want to check the rules with all the States that you planned to drive if you do not plan to do an IDP... or just pay something like $20 to get it.
