一些英文文法疑問~請入

1. I am difficult to fix the machine. 不是我困難, 是fixing the machine 困難.
It is difficult for me to fix the machine. ~ correct

2. The work is necessary to finish by tomorrow ? 不是工作necessary, 是 finishing the work by tomorrow, 還有 question應該倒轉
Is it necessary to finish the work by tomorrow? ~ correct

3.John was disappointed to fail the test . (這句是錯, to fail the test好像John 去 fail the test, John 是失望, 因為他不成功去 fail the test, 換句話,他test及格. 正確句子是:
John was disappointed that he failed the test.
John was disappointed for failing the test.

4. 一些加在to-XX後的 preposition 是不是可有可無? 例如
有prepositions 好些
I am looking for a vase to put in these flowers.
XX needs someone to talk to.
It is not safe for a girl to wait outside (outdoors) at night.

5. My determination to finish the walk helped me.
看不明白這句因為沒有指明幫助我什麼, 無前字後句. 環島步行? 以前半途而廢?
My determination to finish the walk helped my confidence. (比較好些)

6. I would like a room face to the lake. 不是 bare infinitive.
I would like a room facing to the lake. ~ correct

7. 以下句子錯了 :
Entering the house , the door was closed by him .
這句錯, 因為 subject 是 door, 變成 the door entered the house.
After entering the house, he closed the door. ~ correct

Climibg down the tree, one of his leg was broken .
這句錯, subject是 one, 不能說 one of my legs climbed down the tree. 還有leg 要 plural, e.g. one of the boys, 其中一個男孩, 至少兩個男孩, boy要 plural.“Climibg” 不過是 typo error.
Complex sentence 可以有two different subjects.
One of his legs was broken when he was climbing down the tree.~ correct
Climbing down the tree, he broke one of his legs.~ correct

8. endless of thanks 和 endless of love 我想是錯
endless 是 adjective, 雖然有時adjective 當noun 用,e.g. the poor,
或者 pop music lyrics 有, 雖然有 adjective + of 這類 format, e.g. afraid of, tired of, 多數用noun/pronoun + of. 我想endless of 在這裡不能用.英語高手請教
endless + noun
e.g. endless questions, endless supply of money

noun + is/are/was/were/seem + endless,
e.g. The possibilities are endless.

Q1: I am diffcult to fix the machine.
我難以去修理那機器. 並無不妥, 誰作SUBJECT無所謂.

Q2: The work is necessary to finish ( by ) tomorrow.=明天=adv是不必prep.

Q3: John was disappointed to fail the test.
to fail=infinitive的時態太遲于失落,
應提早=Failed the test, John was disappointed.

Q4: 一些PREPOSITION是ADV去修飾V.只是被OBJECT隔開,才會在尾.
I am looking for a vase to put these flowers in.(adv describe to put)

Q5. My determination to finish the walk我的決定去完成那步行"subject".
helped治療好咗(V) me.我(O)

Q6: I would like a room ( face ) facing the lake.( as adj )形容a room.

Q7: Entering the house, the door was closed by him.関上的門怎能進入.
時態用早些:Entered the house, the door was closed by him.
待個個進入晒才由他関上.

Q8: endless 是adj 可直接形容noun.不必+prep. endless love 無盡的愛.
如是NOUN去形容NOUN就要+PREP. the voice of love 愛的呼喚..

是部machine 好難去修理,但你寫了 I 好難去修理
正確答案是: it is hard for me to fix the machine


2.The work is necessary to finish by tomorrow ?錯的地方是?

WORK 是被人去完成的,work唔識自己去完成自己,所以動詞要改被動式,仲有, 你是問句, 但你寫了肯定句
正確答案是: Is the work necessary to be finished by tomorrow ?

3.John was disappointed to fail the test . (這句不是錯的嗎?意思好像是失望地肥佬)

沒錯啊,正解是john對肥佬覺得失望,但凡是形容詞字尾是ed或ing, ( disappointed )解做中文時要自己加上"覺得" 2字


4. 一些加在to-XX後的preposition是不是可有可無? 例如
I am looking for a vase to put these flowers (in).
XX needs someone to talk (to).
It is not safe for a girl to wait (out) at night.

formal 一定要, informal 可以唔要

5. My determination to finish the walk helped me. <-看不明白
這句什麼意思?

我也看不明,我猜是(幫我下定決心完成這次的工作), helping me to make my mind to finish the work.



6. I would like a room face to the lake. 錯的地方是?

錯的地方是,你用了廣東話在google翻譯,下次打(我想要一個房間面向湖)
正確答案是: i would like a room facing the lake


7. 以下句子錯了 :
Entering the house , the door was closed by him .

溜了after

正確答案是 After entering the house , the door was closed by him

Climibg down the tree , one of his leg was broken .

Climibg串錯, 溜了連接詞
one of his leg was broken when he was climbing down the tree.

8. endless of thanks = endless thanks ?

英文沒這句的,相同意思是much obliged to you

endless of love = endless love ?
