I mean, it seems like some people force themselves into a relationship just to have one. For instance my roommate seems like he always has to be dating someone or he is miserable, so he will flirt with every last girl he knows and has no problem trying to steal a girl from their current boyfriend; and then the relationship lasts a week, and he is already poaching again.
I have another friend who pretends to like his girlfriends music, when he actually hates it. He is very fake around her, just so she will like him. None of these relationships are sustainable, and I don't see why people do it. Shouldn't a relationship be meaningful, not some contrived thing so you can feel good for a week and then be miserable?
Why do some people FORCE relationships?

I prefer being in a relationship because you can get sex anytime you want, you can call her yours, and its nice to have someone special in your life and not just a friend.

yes..I think so too...but ppl have their reasons...many do not like to be alone...its too much for them to handle....some are just in the habit of filling the void.....and some learn through experience.... some want real fulfillment and are willing to work towards it ...some just want instant gratification

same as marriage model..as if all ppl should get married at some time
But in reality: it's a matter of one's individual choice and no one has to do it if they don't want to
