Anybody knows how to do it, I need urgently ....thanks^^

Base Area of trapezium in swimming pool :
1/2 {b1 (1)+b2(3) x h (50)}= 100 cm^2

Volume of water in swimming pool : 100 cm^2 x H(20 cm) = 2000 cm^3
if 500 cm^3 water is pumped out, find the depth of water along AB

remarks this is a trapezoid prisms swimming pool, b2=AB=3 cm

Let x cm be the depth of water along AB , then new b1 = 1 - (3 - x) = x - 2new b2 = x{(1/2) [ (x - 2) + x ] * 50} * 20 = 2000 - 500(x - 1) * 1000 = 1500x = 2.5The depth of water along AB = 2.5 cm
