1.To reduce 7.2g of iron oxide completely , how many grams of carbon is required??
2.what mass of zinc oxide is required to obtain 0.8 mole of zinc by carbon reduction?

3.為何1mole 的H 加2 mole 的O並不是3mole的H2O??

1.*做呢d題目一定要寫條equation出黎先
首先,Iron(II)定(III)oxide呀?iron oxide可以有好多種!
當iron(ii)
molar mass of iron(II)oxide=55.8+16=71.8 g/mol
2FeO+C->2Fe+CO2
ratio of FeO:C=2:1
number of mole of 7.2g iron(II)oxide =7.2g/71.8= 0.100mol
number of mole of carbon need=0.050mol
grams of carbon=0.05x12=0.6g
如果係iron(iii)
2Fe2O3+3C->4Fe+3CO2
ratio of Fe2O3:C=2:3
iron(III)oxide= 55.8x2+16x3=159.6g/mol
number of mole of 7.2g iron(III)oxide=7.2/159.6=0.0451mol
number of mole of carbon needed=0.0451*3/2=0.0677mol
grams of carbon needed=0.812g
2.都係寫式先
2ZnO+C->2Zn+CO2
ZnO:Zn=1:1
0.8mol既Zn要0.8mol既ZnO
mass of ZnO needed=0.8*(65.4+16)
=65.12g
3.
1mole既H加2mole既O只得0.5mole既H2O~
1mole既H2O有2mol既H同1mol既O嘛(1個H2O入面有2個H,1個O)
所以1mole既H只夠整0.5mol既H2O,你O再多H唔夠都無用~
4.Na會form 1+既Na+離子,NO3係1- 既負離子,所以佢地既compound入面ions既比例係1:1(點解NO3係1-?呢個程度要死背!)
5.
mole ratio姐係reaction入面唔同reactant所需既比例,好似上面果條式
2Fe2O3+3C->4Fe+3CO2
2個Fe2O3要3個C黎做reaction,mole ratio就係2:3
仲有一個就係1個compund入面原子既ratio
好似1mol既CH4有1mol C同4mol H,
mole ratio就係1:4
有d題目會話1個compound有1mol C同3mol H,問你EMPIRICAL FORMULA,就要答佢CH3咁
如果題目係上面2種可能要用,做多D題目就會知點做!!!
