Mr. To deposits $ 2,000,000 in a bank and the simple interest he will receive after 2 years is $ 400,000. He than deposits the total amount ( $ 2,400,000) in another bank which offers the same interest rate but the interest is compound half-yearly. What amount will he receive after 2 more years?

因為interest=principle x interest rate (%) x t (period)
所以我是這樣算 400000=2000000xN%x2 計interest rate
計到interest rate 是 1%

2400000x(1+1%/2)^4=最後amount是$2448361.202

麻煩告訴我有沒有算錯,因為我覺得答案怪怪的= ="謝謝!!

a=本金=200萬r=年利率=?n=次數=2t=利息=40萬=a*n*rSo r=40/(200*2)=0.1=10%R=半年利率=5%=0.05N=4S=本利和 =a(1+R)^4 =240*10^4*(1+0.05)^4 =2,917,215
