is it wrong to consider Blake Griffin overrated?

He can do a lot more than dunk. If people say he shouldnt have been starting this year, or been an allstar last year, that is also wrong. Shaq was an all star his rookie year. those who say he cant make frrr throws, Shaq didnt either, does that mean Shaq isnt an all star, no.

Definitely not overrated. Its because all his highlights are of him dunking on someone. Which is similar to what Shaq was known for when he came into the NBA

He is overrated. He can't shoot FTs or Js. All he can do is dunk.

blake is a bonafide allstar and points and rebounding numbers (and wins!) show that.
take him out of that clippers lineup and the offense becomes a lot duller. CP3 can't dominate just be scoring. he needs to pass as well and blake is his main recipient.
he cannot spread the floor the way duncan or garnett (or love or lee) can though.
versatility aside, blake knows how to play to his strength - the most efficient shot in basketball.

No. Griffin IS overrated. If you look at all the elite PFs in the league, they can all hit that mid-range jumper(Gasoft, Duncan, Garnett, Boshtrich, Love, Aldridge, Dirk, Randolph, Lee). Griffin still needs to work on that. His defense is also not very good for a guy that is so big and athletic. He's good, but he'll be in the conversation of these elite PFs in maybe 2 more years.
