Coffee powder turned bad?

A few weeks after I've opened a bottle of granulated coffee powder, I look into the bottle and note some grains glitter with silvery shine. I wonder if it has turned bad, or, finding it hard to believe, suppose some coffee powder just looks like this?

I don't have very good taste buds and can't find anything abnormal about the taste. The label reads it should be consumed within a few weeks and I wonder what it means by that.

My instant coffee almost always has a weird shine to it. If you're worried you could throw it out. Better safe than sorry, and all that. But if it was kept tightly sealed, in a "cool, dark place" you should be fine. My grandmother keeps her instant coffee FOREVER.

Maybe it can, but I've only known instant coffee to melt into a solid lump if the jar gets too hot. I don't drink it that often so I keep it for a long time.
