John ate 1/6 of cake , the cake left (1 - 1/6)Susan ate 1/5 of what was the left , the cake left (1 - 1/6)(1 - 1/5).Chan ate 1/4 of what was left after that , the cake left (1 - 1/6)(1 - 1/5)(1 - 1/4).Cindy ate 1/3 of what was the left after that ,
the cake left (1 - 1/6)(1 - 1/5)(1 - 1/4)(1 - 1/3)Luigi ate 1/2 of what was left after that ,
the cake left (1 - 1/6)(1 - 1/5)(1 - 1/4)(1 - 1/3)(1 - 1/2)
So the original cake was left(1 - 1/6)(1 - 1/5)(1 - 1/4)(1 - 1/3)(1 - 1/2)= (5/6) (4/5) (3/4) (2/3) (1/2)= (5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 1) / (6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2)= 1 / 6
