Usually your school will at least give you a map of the school, with all the room numbers on it.
You'll get a schedule, and you just go to each class as it's put down.
Things that your middle school might have:
1. A/B days.
You'll have some classes one day, and other ones the next. They'll be marked like A1, A2, A3, A4, etc. You don't go to B day classes on A days, and vice verse.
.
2. Study block/Core plus.
It's just a block where you sit in the room, do homework, and other work. It's usually before or after lunch.
3. Clusters/Cores.
It's basically like a group of teachers, they're all in the same place, and are the math, science, history, and english/language teachers. Elective classes like orchestra, band, home ec, and other classes are not on the core.
4. Halls.
My middle school had a 6th, 7th, and 8th grade hall, along with a D or Elective hall. This makes things easier to find.
But seriously, just go with the flow. You'll get the hang of it, I swear.
