I did not say Ashley's translation was wrong. I said the original Chinese is strange. If that is the case, isn't it better to say,
" 我是XXX，我很高興代表A部門歡迎各位蒞臨。"
好高興來到A部門 should be something said by XXX to Dept. A
歡迎來到A部門 should be something said by Dept A to XXX.
Having 2 mixed up in one sentence is wrong in either Chinese or English. To translate, one can only rewrite the intended message.

I did not say Ashley's translation was wrong. I said the original Chinese is strange. If that is the case, isn't it better to say,
