ENG book report x5 (20點)

1) Book Title: Oliver Twist
Author: Charles Dickens
My favourite character, why:
My favourite character is Oliver, because he is a poor orphan called Oliver. His childhood was not as ordinary as the other children. He suffered the boss of
coffin-maker’s shop affliction, therefore he escaped to London without any
money. I feel very sorry for him and there were also a lot of misunderstanding
and wicked people around him. However, he still have a pure heart with him. For
example, Fagin caught him by the second time, he didn't stole the money and
just sacrifice himself for giving back the money to Mr Brownlow who cared
him a lot.

2) Book title: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
Author: L. Frank Baum
My favourite character, why:
My favourite character is dorothy because she is very brave and helpful.
Dorothy how to solve the proplem .She is so clever .When she saw a lion ,She didn 't ran away, She is so brave,and she helped the lion to solve proplem
I think i should learn from her, learn how to be a brave, helpful and kind
people too!

Twilight

Book title: The twilight
Author: Stephenie Meyer
publisher: Little brown and companyThe two main characters, Edward and Bella, one is a vampire and the other one is a human being. The love between them is prohibited and impossible. However, they try to stay with each other even though it is unlawful. I admire for their spirit. I think they are so brave that they even break the law. They have followed their mind and did what they wanted. After reading this book, I am deeply impressed by their action and I have learnt much from two of them. I have learnt that we should always try our best and never give up anytime. And also, I have learnt to love everyone around us with a heart.I think the most exciting part is the part that Bella is going to be eaten by another vampire - James. Bella is going to die if she is bitten him. Fortunately, Edward comes and saves her from danger. I love this part very much because I like watching adventure novels and films. My favorite character in this book is Bella. She is beautiful and cheerful. I am stroked by her. She never gives up and always fights for success. She is so unique that no one can replace her in my mind.Actually, I don’t really like reading English novels. I think they’re so boring and the wordings are so small, it makes me felt dizzy! I don’t want to read this book at the beginning. However, it’s highly recommend by my teachers and friends. After reading it, I love this section of novels. It’s marvelous! I even buy the whole section. I think teachers had read this book too, and I think you should read this book too! It’s good for everyone, and we can learn a lot from it. I am sure that you will like it.
