緊急! 去南韓護照需不需要仲有6個月expiry days?

My family is going to South Korea in Jan, but my father's passport has only 5 months remaining valid days when he enters South Korea. He's holding Singapore passport, can he enters South Korea? Does he have enough time to renew his passport within 3 weeks?

thanks

This is the usual practice, regardless of whatever passport you hold and whereever you go, the validity of passport must have at least 6 months due for expiry. The main reason is that the airline staff do not let you check-in. Therefore your father can not enter S Koera, 3 weeks to renew depends on the efficiency of Singaporean Government, not HKSAR.
