you think US government , they can control mid-east situation ?

Absolutely not. Government of any kind is terrible at controlling most anything. Free people, however know what they want, and can live in peace with almost no government at all.

What the US Gov't policy should do is promote and always side with freedom everywhere in the world. But probably not much else. I do think it is wise to help these Mid-East countries start stable democracies and give them a chance at success. We learned this lesson the hard way when we abandoned the Afghans after they kicked the Soviets out in 1989. This is now becoming a State Department job in Iraq and Afghanistan as the wars are ending.

Depends on whom you ask, the fact is they can't control middle east totally they can have influence, and they do.
