Don't use Fraps. Fraps records in good quality, but it slows down your game like it's carrying a boulder. Use Bandicam. It still slows down your game, but not as much.
Hi, if you want to record your FPS game video on your pc and upload on youtube, that's easy, if you will, you can follw me to use Youtube Movie Maker to do that, with it you can directly record the computer desktop screen videos when your playing your Duke Nukem Forever game on computer, then you can edit the recorded videos on your computer and upload on youtube, just run Youtube Movie Maker, then click REC button on Youtube Movie Maker to start record the screen video, then run Duke Nukem Forever game on computer, once record complete, you can edit the recorded videos on Youtube Movie Maker, such as crop, cut, add music or texts, etc, at last press "Publish to Youtube" to upload the edited video onto Youtube. You can download it from makeyoutubevideo.com, easy to use, hope it can help you.
Fraps is an excellent option, although it's not free.. if you're serious about doing commentaries, then I would suggest this as a good investment. Others like Bandicam and Hypercam either have small watermarks, or poor quality.
I've used Fraps myself in the past, and it's very good quality. The .avi files it records are very large, however, and it splits them up, but once you edit and export the final video to upload, you can delete these, unless you plan on editing it more later.
Fraps will slow down the game, but if your computer is good enough, it won't be too much of a problem. If it does slow it down, and you're serious about commentary, then I would suggest also investing in some better hardware.
Your acceptable guess is Counter Strike: source! Its been voted acceptable merchandising FPS pastime of all time :) and inspite of what the different numpties have stated it purely value me £15 jointly with, 0.5 existence 2, all unique 0.5 lifes, group deathmatch classic and a few others. some shops additionally inventory Counter Strike: source by itself which might value around £5 ($9?) in case you cant discover it in a save then i recommend eBay ;)
What you need is software that can record your screen. You can google search for a free one. I would suggest downloading a free one, see if you are going to stick with making videos, and then purchase one if you're serious. Hope this helped.
