關於英文介系詞的問題!

to tell somebody something是本句的結構
something = all my misery　是動詞tell的直接受詞
somebody = you 是動詞tell的間接受詞
本句因為直接受詞較長，不會移到間接受詞之前，所以不會發生要加上介系詞to的狀況。

He gave me a book. = He gave a book to me.這種狀況才要加上介系詞to在間接受詞me之前（to give something to somebody）。
She wrote me a letter. = She wrote a letter to me.

不及物動詞在接受詞時，需要加上介系詞。但及物動詞tell不必。
［不及物動詞+介系詞］的片語，如：to go to school, to call on your friends, to look at the camera等。

是否及物或不及物，看字典最保險。有的動詞會兼有這兩種特性，但意思會不同。

因為TELL這個字可以直接接上人，而不需要介係詞啊。

舉例來說，I will tell you something. 不能說 I will tell to you something. Let me tell you a story.不能說Let me tell to you a story. 但是，你可以說I will tell something to you 和Let me tell a story to you. 所以 I have told you all my misery.也可以說成 I have told all my misery to you.

told you 是特定英語的格式，使用told to you是錯誤的用法
