Today is the 18th of January in 2011 which is a great day with beautiful clouds and sunshine. I went hiking in Tsuen Wan this morning, suddenly, I saw a frightened puppy who was trapped in the catchwater with its body trembling much. It jumped here and there, and struggled to leave, I was shocked at that time. When I calmed down, I tried to pull up the puppy from the catchwater with a sprig but failed. I called the SPCA(愛護動物協會,應該台灣都有吧) and AFCD(漁護處,應該報警不合適) and told them where I was. After half an hour, the government officials came first. They used an anesthetic injection to make the puppy relax and sleep.
Then they used a net to carry the puppy out and put it into a cage. The ground was so wet and slippery that I walked carefully, for I was afraid that I would fell into the catchwater too.
