y=-x²+2When this line intercept x-axis, y=0.So, 0=-x²+2 2-x²=0 (√2-x)(√2+x)=0So, √2-x=0 or √2+x=0 √2=x or x=-√2 x= -√2 or √2So, the x-intercepts are (-√2,0) & (√2,0).
