= 6/[8^(1/2)] x [8/8]^(1/2)
= 6[8^(1/2)] / 8
= 12[2^(1/2)] / 8
= 3[2^(1/2)] / 2
= [(3^2 x 2)^(1/2)]/2
= [18^(1/2)]/2

for such kind of question:
show A = B
you can show A = ... = B directly or vice versa, or
show A = ... = C
and then B = ... = C
=> A = B
= 6/[8^(1/2)] x [8/8]^(1/2)
= 6[8^(1/2)] / 8
= 12[2^(1/2)] / 8
= 3[2^(1/2)] / 2
= [(3^2 x 2)^(1/2)]/2
= [18^(1/2)]/2
