The total distance travelled from I to IV = 28 units on the graph
Since the given scale is 4 units = 2 m.
hence, the total distance travelled = 28/2 m = 14 m
Average speed = 14/18 s = 0.778 m/s

By joining point I and point IV,
the displacement = square-root[20^ + 8^2] units = 21.54 units = 10.77 m
hence, average velocity = 10.77/18 m/s = 0.598 m/s
